MoorReason's single's have been aired on local and international radio stations.
MoorReason hail from Okehampton, in the heart of Devon. A five-piece band playing original songs in an alt-folk groove.
The band's constantly expanding repertoire of songs range from raucous, alcohol-tinged crowd-pleasers (for the revellers/drunks) to reflective, heartfelt ballads (for the more sensitive listener/designated driver).
Drawing on influences from a wide range of musical styles (folk, country, bluegrass, indie-rock, prog-rock) - this is an accessible band that gets most toes tapping and works hard to engage and uplift* their audience (*weight restrictions may apply).
The present line up has been together since the summer of 2012. MoorReason are husband and wife Lee (guitar/vocals) and Yvonne (lead vocal) Coatham, joined by the multi-instrumental Elaine Lightfoot (mandolin/flute/guitar/vocals), the multi-faceted Paul China (electric bass/double bass/vocals) and the multi-storey Dick Terry (drums/vocals).
